Swing-Arm System for Overhead Anchorage

Problem: This Illinois customer needed to provide an overhead anchorage for workers as they climbed upon machinery that was being secured to a test stand. An overhead bridge crane prevented install of more conventional monorail systems.

Solution: EFP designed and installed (2) custom 30-foot Swing-Arm Systems to be utilized in conjunction with the overhead bridge crane, which allowed for safe tie-off of the workers as they worked at elevation. This unique approach allowed the customer to address the safety concerns they had been looking to solve for quite some time.
