Fall Protection Anchor Points for a Hay Loft
Problem: This livestock growing facility needed a solution to a fall hazard as workers were loading material from an elevated door into a hay loft.
Solution: Engineered Fall Protection (EFP) installed two fall protection anchor points that when used with an SRL allow the workers free range of motion to safely unload the material from the loft door. Before the worker accesses the door, he will pull the SRL tag line to retrieve the snap hook and secure it to his harness dorsal d-ring. The SRL will arrest a fall within inches keeping arresting forces on the worker at a minimum and allowing greater chances for self-rescue.
