3M | DBI-Sala Uni 8 Horizontal Lifeline Installation

Problem: This tanker truck assembling company needed a fall arrest system for workers installing components on tanker trucks at a height of 4 feet or higher.

Solution: Engineered Fall Protection engineered and installed three 160-foot 3M Uni 8 horizontal lifeline systems to support two users per line. The workers will connect a self-retracting lifeline to the trolley, the trolley will move along with them on the horizontal lifeline keeping the SRL on a vertical plane to reduce free fall distance and swing fall.
